「Flow Field」

“Yet we know less about the ocean than space”
The autonomous oceanvoy sailing robot is an intelligent
agent struggling for survival within the fields of the wind and
the flow. It self-navigates in natural environments, constantly
calculating and adjusting, gradually revealing a philosophy of
drifting. In the solution space of the Navier-Stokes equations,
it searches for its way of existence.
The ocean background is not an endpoint but an everchanging, boundless arena. The portholes, as a metaphor for
seeing, are both windows and boundaries. The unmanned
sailboat is more than a tool, but an explorer and narrator.
Through its “eyes”, we glimpse the uncharted oceans. This
visual installation narrates a hidden tale of nature, urging us
to reconsider technology, autonomy, and the way of seeing.
