「Heartbeat Specimen」

“TO MY LOVE
If
I depart tomorrow
Please preserve
My heart immersed in
A specimen bottle
With a solar powered
Pacemaker installed
As long as the sun rises
My heart
Will not stop loving you”
Unfolding from the poem To My love, this soft robotic heart is
powered by sunlight and propelled by an air pump. From the
perspective of embodied intelligence, it is more than an individual
organ, but an embedded network interwoven with its
environment, and an intelligent system that responds to the
world.
It is both specimen and life, mechanical yet part of nature. Its
heartbeat exists outside of time, regenerates in sync with the
eternal rhythms of nature and ecological cycles. In this dialogue
between life and intelligence, the heartbeat—input, feedback, and
circulation—becomes an existence beyond the limits of mortality.
