「Release of Floor-Cleaning Robot」

The floor-cleaning robot, as the first widely 
adopted household robot, served as humanity's 
initial encounter with the notion of "the future is 
now" as well as the starting point for imagination 
of household machine life.
However, as artificial intelligence and hardware 
matured, questions arose: Can these intelligent 
beings contemplate and possess autonomous 
consciousness like human beings? Are they 
destined to fulfill the predetermined tasks 
assigned to them by their creators?
In the artwork Release of Floor-Cleaning Robot,
the artist constructs a game that overlaps with 
the real-world map, setting the stage for "living 
beings" — the floor-cleaning robots powered 
by solar and wind energy. Through AI-driven 
automated path planning, the robots are 
released into the virtual world, where they are 
granted freedom and a taste of life experiences.
